NOCLS hosts tasty and artistic fundraiser

A fun evening at the Eclectic Med in Vernon features delicious food, wine and art

The North Okanagan Community Life Society is counting on local foodies and art lovers to come out to their eighth annual Art and Wine Gala.

The evening is hosted by the Eclectic Med, which puts on a luxurious six-course meal that is paired with an Okanagan wine at every course.

“Andrew (Fradley) of the Eclectic Med produces a stunning six-course meal,” said Pippa Forster, NOCLS gala committee member.

One of the highlights of the evening is the live wine and art auction that sees pieces donated from local artists and Okanagan wine going to the highest bidder.

“It is a great event with a very amusing auctioneer who gets the crowd going,” said Forster.

The gala is Feb. 27 and tickets are $125 per person and can be purchased at the Eclectic Med, Designers Gallery or NOCLS.

“It is a wow evening, it’s top-notch,” said Garry Molitwenik of NOCLS.
