The Oceanside Folk Roots Club will bring Edmonton’s travelling folk music troubadour Ben Sures to the Qualicum Beach Community Hall on Sept. 24 at 7 p.m.
Sures, who after 20 years has built a reputation as a talented and distinctive songwriter, is also a gifted guitarist and humorist.
In the first split bill concert by the club, Sures will share the evening with Lanzville’s own Blunder Brothers.

Mick Sherlock, Oceanside Folk Roots Club producer, said: “The Blunders are by far the most energetic, happiest and good natured performers that we have ever had at the club… the perfect foil for a double act with Ben. Two great acts for the price of one.”
Tickets for the show can be reserved by calling 403-608-7280, by email at micksherlock58@gmail.com, or through the Oceanside Folk Roots Club page on Facebook.
