Singer/songwriter Jenny Lester brings her brand of bluegrass to the Oceanside Folk/Roots Club.
The show will start at 7 p.m. on Friday, July 23, and feature the multi-instrumentalist and internationally renowned vocal educator, Lester, who is one of the few in the bluegrass field to write much of her own material.
Oceanside Folk/Roots Club producer Mick Sherlock said: “Jenny is such a warm and personable singer and such a great writer. I consider us very fortunate that she is now living in (Parksville Qualicum Beach). Hopefully she will grace our club often.”
Lester will be accompanied by mandolin phenomenon Tai McGillivray and local fiddler extraordinaire Tom Neville.
