Realty Reality, a fun television series that takes viewers on a lively journey through unique homes in local BC hotspots, will be returning to the Okanagan Valley to film a portion of it’s third season.
This time there is an even stronger local connection. The series will continue to be produced by Victoria based Cedarwood Productions, but for this newest season they have partnered to co-produce with Kelowna’s Visland Media.
“Getting involved was a no-brainer for us,” said Visland CEO Alex Miller. “It’s a fantastic show and we already act as the international distributor for the first two seasons. We jumped at the chance to work directly with Cedarwood on the newest episodes.”
Visland isn’t the only local connection, as Petrina Koltun of Royal LePage Kelowna will be returning to the show as host of the four episodes that will be shot in the Okanagan. “I’m so excited to be back for season three,” said Koltun. “I had an unbelievable amount of fun working on the first two seasons and can’t wait for production to start!”
According to Executive Producer Karen Davies of Cedarwood Productions, naming Petrina as host was an easy choice. “There is a reason Petrina is the first host we have announced for this upcoming season. She has so much personality and the viewers absolutely adore her. She was the obvious choice,” says Davies.
Additional episodes of the show are planned for other Western Canadian cities including Vancouver, Victoria and Calgary. The series will be directed by Lindsay Nielsen with Alex Miller and Karen Davies acting as Executive Producers. Production begins in September and it will air across Canada starting in September of 2017.
Cedarwood Productions is a full service video production company based in Victoria, BC and is best known for its television series Flavours Of The West Coast and Realty Reality.
Visland Media is a Kelowna based television development and distribution company. It is currently producing a 13-part international travel series entitled Buskers.
