The Summerland Community Arts Centre is going to be moving again but this time they’re moving to the Blagborne Building.

The building, also known as the old library on Wharton Street will be the official new home to the Summerland Culture Centre.

There are still many hours of planning and renovation ahead, so it may take some time before the arts centre is back in full operation.

The arts centre will be there as of April 30. It is excepted the Summer Arts Program will run as usual.

The building and planning committees are busy prioritizing and developing a staged process so that we can operate as soon as possible.

If you are able to volunteer some time, the centre would appreciate it. They will be moving in stages and will have need of vehicles as well as people for packing and moving.

Contact Karen Bowyer at 250-494-4494 if you would like to help out.
