The Paint Out wraps up at 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 14 with a reception at The Starboard Grill located at the Harbour Quay. Come out, admire the paintings and meet the talented artists who created them. The event is free and everyone is invited. Call Astrid Johnston at 250-724-2056 or email art@drawgallery.com for more information.

The DRAW Gallery also has Sacred Memories by artist Casey Rae on display until Sept. 27. The exhibit is a personal remembrance of those passed  on and a celebration of life. Rae drew inspiration from El Dia De Los Muertos, or the Day of the Dead, a celebration that captures the idea of unity between life and death and sees death as part of the cycle of life.
