Langley dancer Sophia Lee stars as Anne in Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet’s classical performance of Going Home Star — Truth and Reconciliation. The ballet is being performed for Vancouver audiences for the first time at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre April 7 to 9. Created with the support of Canada’s Truth and Reconciliation Commission, this tragic, yet hopeful tale honours the many stories, both told and untold, experienced by First Nations residential school survivors and their families.
