Chase Museum’s featured artist of the month is Rob Mclean.

Beginning Oct. 1, his photography will be on display.

Mclean began to take pictures with a standard film camera that was given to him by his grandmother. He found that it gave him an outlet that made him less shy with people and it encouraged him to see the world in a different light.

With the development of his photographer’s eye, he graduated to a new digital (single-lens reflex) SLR camera that allowed him to edit and  thus create his own vision.

McLean shares that vision with organizations such as the Chase literacy program, the village office and schools in Chase. Stop by and view his work Tuesday to Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
