Kelowna Comedy has been busy bringing Canada’s funniest comedians to Dakoda’s Comedy Lounge and this Friday night, Vancouver’s Dylan Rhymer returns to the delight of his dedicated fans.
For 20 years Rhymer has delighted and challenged audiences all over the world with his intelligent, provocative and fast-paced brand of stand-up comedy. Rhymer explores social issues, philosophy and current events through the lense of his own insecurities and stupid shortcomings in a way that everyone can relate to.
He has a sharp and imaginative style that thrills audiences while encouraging them to think. Edgy, charming and hilarious, Rhymer is truly in a class of his own.
His impressive resume includes a one hour special on CBC television, a first place finish in the People’s Champ Comedy Contest, and countless festival appearances across the globe.
However, what really sets him apart from other touring comedians is the connection he has with his audience and other comics who quickly become fans and friends. Rhymer will be performing two shows on Friday night (7 p.m. and 9 p.m.) at Dakoda’s Comedy Lounge.
