Priest: The Tribute comes to Langley Sept. 21

Show delivers an authentic Judas Priest experience

The soaring operatic vocals, the classic twin-guitar styling — and of course — all the leather, spikes and taboo costumes of Judas Priest is coming to Langley this fall.

Priest: The Tribute will take over Cascades Casino Resort Summit Theatre Thursday, Sept. 21.

The band delivers an authentic Judas Priest experience, with Alex as Rob Halford, Floe as Scott Travis, Shane as Ian Hill, Larry as KK Downing and Shawn as Glen Tipton.

Judas Priest, a British Heavy Metal band, was formed in 1969. Their innovative body of work includes hits You’ve Got Another Thing Comin’, Painkiller, Living After Midnight, Breaking the Law, Electric Eye, Screaming for Vengeance, Victims of Change, Love Bites, Some Heads Are Gonna Roll, Hell Bent for Leather and Metal Gods.

With a more simplified sound, the album British Steel launched the band to superstar status. The Guardian referred to British Steel as the record that defines heavy metal.

Tickets to the Langley tribute show are available for $32.50 (plus facility fee and service charges) at Casino Guest Services. Charge by phone at 604-530-2211 or online at www.ticketweb.ca. Doors open at 7 p.m., show begins at 8 p.m.
