A public art piece at one downtown Nanaimo park has been relocated.
Late last month the City of Nanaimo moved Joel Good’s Spindle Whorl from Maffeo Sutton Park to the Albert Street, Commercial Street and Victoria Crescent intersection.
Spindle Whorl was created by in 2013 as part of the city’s Temporary Public Art program.
The piece had spent the last two years at the park before being shipped to the tri-street intersection.
