The Bard to Broadway Theatre Society in Qualicum Beach has announced its 2021 season schedule.
Past president Laurel Johannson said they are still uncertain if they will be able to proceed with their plans but just in case would like the community to know what they plan to feature.
Johannson said theatre-lovers are anxious to get back to it. The plays have been chosen and auditions were virtually held via Zoom. Rehearsals will start next week.
B2B had three plays ready last year but due to COVID-19 had to reschedule its season. This year, the group plans a season that will include one of the plays scheduled for last year and two new ones.

The plays that will be featured are:
Crimes of the Heart; a Pulitzer prize-winning play that is a funny, poignant story of three southern sisters. Loving, fussing and feuding, they share their reunion with us. It is directed by Jay Norton.
Just the Ticket is a full-length comedy for one actor. The show follows the fortunes of Susan, a loud and lonely eccentric. Searching for love and surrounded by chaos she takes us on a compelling journey through her hilarious life. It’s directed by Brian Mather
Forbidden Broadway is a cabaret revue parodying musical theatre. This show in its many editions has been seen in more than 200 cities in the United States as well as played in London, Tokyo, Sydney and now Qualicum Beach. It is directed by Susan Bradshaw.
To strictly adhere to gathering protocols set by the province’s health authority, Johannson said audiences would be limited and other healthy safety measures will be in place and it is undetermined if the plays will be staged outdoors or indoors.
