Rank and Vile, an adult standup-comedy tour featuring Darren Frost and Kenny Robinson, is making a stop at Yuk Yuks in Abbotsford from Nov. 10 to 12.

Frost and Robinson are known for their profane opinionated brand of “in your face” and social commentary.

They have a combined 50 years of comedy in Canada, including sold-out shows at the Winnipeg Comedy Festival.

Robinson is one of the few comedians who can be called a Canadian comedy legend. He has been touring across North America for more than 30 years, and most recently appeared in the Russell Peters Xmas Special and the Now Magazine Top Ten Comic Moments.

He has appeared at events and venues such as the Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival, L.A.’s Comedy Store and Improv, and the Laffapalooza Urban Comedy Festival in Atlanta.

Robinson has shared the stage with comedians such as Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, Jim Carrey, Norm McDonald, Tommy Chong, Margaret Cho, Phyllis Diller, and the late Sam Kinison.

Robinson has co-hosted the Gemini Awards, as well as being twice nominated for his CBC TV special Thick and Thin. He is also the creator, writer and host of the Comedy Network show After Hours and for two years was the co-host of FLOW 93.5’s Morning Rush radio show.

Robinson is also a recipient of the Phil Hartman Award at the Canadian Comedy Awards for his contribution to the industry.

Frost recently worked with Nicolas Cage in his new movie Pay The Ghost and appeared in season two of the hit CBC show Mr. D, playing an angry French teacher.

Frost has also appeared at the Halifax Comedy Festival, the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, the St. John’s Comedy Festival Gala, The Ron James Show and CBC Debaters.

He has also performed in more than 22 shows at Just For Laughs, including the Nasty Show and the televised gala.

Frost has appeared in many Hollywood films such as Hairspray, Assault On Precinct 13, Fever Pitch and Don’t Say a Word, although he is best known for his appearances in more than 50 commercials, including The Cash For Life Fairy and Listerine’s Action Hero Bottle. Special guest MC for this show is Kathleen McGee, one of Canada’s fastest rising comedy stars.

Tickets can be purchased online at yukyuks.com or at the venue.
