On Saturday, Jan. 21, the Fraser Valley Chinese Cultural Association (FVCCA) invites you to ring in the lunar new year with music, dance, family and friends at the 2017 Happy Spring Festival.
The FVCCA has promised this year’s event “will be even more striking” than the last. Chief Director Dong Yang is said to be bringing more colour, lights and visual impact than ever before.
The event will feature musicians Zhang Hui, Zhu Naijun and Luo Ling.
Organizer Qing Ping said the event is an opportunity to surround yourself with family and friends, have a good time and become inspired.
“As the largest public charity activity in the Surrey Chinese community, the festival promises to bring love, warmth and happiness,” she said.
FVCCA sponsors the Sunshine Angel children’s art program and a portion of ticket proceeds will be donated to the youth program to give opportunities to talented young artists.
Tickets can be purchased at the C&C Learning Centre or the Columbia White Rock Education Centre, or by contacting Vivien Wang (604-998-6639) or Ian Zhang (604-370-6666).
