The Envision Financial Concert in the Park Series presents Rip Van Finn at the Kariton Art Gallery stage in Mill Lake Park on Saturday, Sept. 13 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Rip Van Finn is an indie-pop-Celtic-folk-rock trio that blends fiddle, bagpipes, keyboards and percussion.
Featured is fiddler Mike Sanyshyn, who was named the B.C. provincial fiddle champion four times. He is joined by bagpiper and keyboardist Joseph McDonald, main vocalist and songwriter. Craig McGregor, a noted Vancouver session player, rounds out the trio on guitar.
