Rocking out for waterfront land

The SEAS will host a fundraising concert to promote the acquisition of the former Cottonwoods Campground near the Adams River.

The Shuswap Environmental Action Society (SEAS) will host a fundraising concert to promote the acquisition of the former Cottonwoods Campground near the Adams River. The show will feature  indie-folk-rock star Joel Plaskett, a Canadian rock musician originally from Lunenburg, Nova Scotia.

He has been a prominent figure in the Canadian indie rock scene of the 1990s and 2000s.

The show runs at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, April 15 at the Salmar Classic. Advance tickets are $25 at Acorn Music, or $30 at the door.
