Colouring book

The Community Art Centre has extended their call to artists for their community colouring book to Sept. 30.

If you are an avid doodler or just love to draw, then join us in this opportunity to have a drawing of yours published in a colouring book of landmarks and special places of the Alberni Valley. You don’t have to be a professional artist, just have a love of the Valley. Young and old, it doesn’t matter your age, all applications will be accepted to be included in a jury to be chosen and then published in this first time colouring book.

Submit a line drawing, 8” X 10”, of local landmarks or something that reminds you of our wonderful Alberni Valley. These drawings must be in black and white only. Drawings will then be juried and published in a colouring book as a fundraiser for the Community Arts Council and the Rollin Art Centre.

A special line drawing will be chosen to represent the front cover in full colour. Colouring books will be published right here in the valley, and will be available to purchase just in time for Christmas. For more information and an application, stop by the Rollin Art Centre. Submissions will now be accepted until Sept. 30.
