Ken Lavigne set to perform with original tenors at Knox United Church this Sunday

Ken Lavigne is performing at Knox United Church November 10 with Romanza.

Romanza includes Lavigne, Paul Oulette and Philip Grant. The trio will perform a variety of new and familiar songs at Knox, including two Remembrance Day-themed numbers.

Lavigne was a founding member of the Canadian Tenors in 2004 and after completing a B.C. tour he co-founded the successful trio Romanza in 2005. Romanza has recorded two CD’s selling over 10,000 copies.

Ken has sung on many world stages, including Carnegie Hall. He has worked with producer David Foster, and performed for Prince Charles. He continues to tour extensively across Canada as a soloist with symphonies and small ensembles.

Oulette is a three-time consecutive winner of the Western Canada Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions.

Grant is the executive director of Romanza Entertainment. He has performed and produced over 300 professional operatic performances around the world.

The show at Knox takes place at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 10. There are only a limited amount of seats still available at the show.

Tickets are $25 in advance at the church office 345 Pym Street in Parksville or at either Mulberry Bush Bookstore locations. Any remaining tickets will be $30 at the door.
