Sculptors, wood carving, jewellery and more will be on display for all to see at this year’s Studio Tour.
With 26 venues and at least three dozen artists displaying their work, patrons will get the opportunity to walk through their homes and studios and ask questions about their various pieces.
“The idea behind the tour is to educate people about the different art forms that are here on the peninsula,” said Monika Korsten, the new coordinator for the tour.
This year will see a few new entrants, including DeVine Wines and Spirits which will see at least one or two artists and the McTavish Academy of Art, which will see three entries, plus other venues. There will also be the return of regular venues like the Tulista Gallery and Betty Rollins home, along with Don Bastian and more.
The Studio Tour is a self-guided tour and will take place June 4 and 5 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and patrons can view the map and brochures online at cacsp.com.
