After its successful Sacred Music series, the Chilliwack Symphony Orchestra presents its Christmas Sacred Concert series, featuring a capella singers Belle Voci.
The CSO will once again be able to offer the Fraser Valley an exciting selection of diverse sacred music, including renaissance polyphony, Greek orthodox chant, traditional and jazzy interpretations of your favourite Christmas Carols, and modern versions of melodies that have lasted throughout the ages.
As part of its ongoing mission to keep music performance alive in the Fraser Valley, admission will be by donation, and the CSO encourages all who are interested to come and enjoy the gift of song.
Residents of the Fraser Valley will have three opportunities to hear the music in Chilliwack, Abbotsford and Aldergrove.
The Chilliwack performance is Sunday, Dec. 18 at 3 p.m. at the Chilliwack Museum (45820 Spadina Ave.). They also perform Dec. 16 at 7:30 p.m. at Old Clayburn Church (in Clayburn Village) in Abbotsford, and Dec. 17 at 7:30 p.m. at Sts. Joachim and Ann Parish in Aldergrove.
