The Northern Lights Chamber Choir presents Equinox, a concert of songs about spring and fall, at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 2 and Sunday, March 4 at 2:30 p.m. at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, and at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 11 at St. Mary’s Church in Sorrento. SAGA Public Art Gallery and the Arts Council present a day of learning and celebration, with workshops beginning at 11 a.m. Sunday, March 4 – archiving photographs, art history, journaling and genealogy, all free to the community.
Hitchfest

Eric St. Laurent, winner of the SOCAN award for Best Original Composition at the Montréal Jazz Festival and The Best Band Award at the Vienne (France) Jazz Festival, is coming back to Salmon Arm to perform with bassist Jordan O’Connor and percussionist Michel DeQuevedo – also excellent musicians.
