Oct. 4 – Pianist Sarah Hagen and special guest cellist Ariel Barnes perform at 10:30 a.m. in the Rotary Hall Studio Theatre at the Cultural Centre. Now to Oct. 26 – Earthscapes features work by two artists and is on display in the Art Gallery at the Cultural Centre until Oct. 26. Debbie Weismiller is an abstract artist who is captivated by colour with all of its intensity, shades of warmth and coolness and of texture. Patricia Tessier works are photographs of floral studies and natural abstracts. Gallery hours are Wednesdays to Saturdays from noon to 5 p.m.

Now to Nov. 7 – Local artist Linda Phelps has her show, Classic to Modern, on display at the Chilliwack Museum until Nov. 7. Her artwork includes pieces in porcelain, oil, watercolour, and jewellery.
