March 5-23 – UFV Theatre presents a contemporary version of William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet at UFV’s Performance Theatre (45635 Yale Rd.). Show times: previews March 5 and 6; evening performances (7:30 p.m.) are March 7, 8, 14, 15, 20, 21, and 22; and Sunday matinees (2 p.m.) are March 16 and 23. Now to March 13 – The annual Chilliwack Lions Club Music and Dance Festival runs Feb. 4 to March 13 with dance and music performances at the Cultural Centre, and band performances at G.W. Graham theatre. The festival wraps up with a Dance Honours Performance on March 2, and the Music Honours Performance on April 4.
