Dec. 10-21 – The UFV theatre department brings classic holiday piece, A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, to the stage Dec. 10 to 21. Dramatized with flair and wit in a version first performed by the Royal Shakespeare Company, this adaptation of the ageless story captures Dickens’ ironic point of view and creates a panoramic view of Victorian London. Dec. 11 – Machine Gun Kelly is bringing his No Class Tour to Tzeachten Hall (45855 Promontory Rd.) for an all-ages show tonight. Features performances by Immaculate, EmotionBeats, Neyvone, Rrkade, and Chunky-D. Dec. 12/13 – The Woody James Band performs live at the Anavets (305-46268 Yale Rd.) playing songs from their four CDs and all the best classic rock hits.

Dec. 12 – Pull up a chair and enjoy classic Christmas movie, It’s a Wonderful Life, at Minter Country Garden at 5:30 p.m.

Dec. 13 – The Chilliwack Symphony Orchestra & Chorus brings its Christmas concert, The Nutcracker and Christmas Favourites, to the Cultural Centre at 7:30 p.m. The concert will feature the local talents of the Fraser Valley Academy of Dance, the Ladies Show Choir, and Belle Voci. Dec. 14 – CircusWest brings acrobatic show, A Circus in Wonderland, to the Cultural Centre at 2 p.m. There will be unicycles, aerial acrobatics, tightrope walking, and feats of balance, flexibility, and agility.
