Fernie band Shred Kelly still need your help to get them on the train!
The hugely popular local band recently won two Kootenay Music Awards – one for band/artist of the year and one for best folk/country artist of the year.
They have also made the top 10 in a competition called Tracks on Tracks. If they win, they can get a place on a train that goes from Vancouver to Toronto in June and is supported by Grant Lawrence, CBC and filmed by an independent film crew called Green Couch Productions.
The train starts in Vancouver and ends in Toronto at a festival called North By North East that takes place all over downtown Toronto.
But to win the competition, they need their fans to vote for them online!
They asked for their fans to vote for them when they made the top 50 a couple of weeks ago, and now need a final push.
They are the only Kootenay band in the competition and could really use some local support.
Voting ends on Tuesday so get clicking here!
Also, the band made a video to show how much they want to get on the train. Click here.
