Vancouver jazz singer Jaclyn Guillou is back in the valley in December to perform four benefit concerts to help feed local families.

The tour called, Feed The Family, is in support of five different Okanagan food banks, including Vernon’s.

“Jaclyn is thrilled to be back in the Okanagan Valley,” said Brian Guillou, Jaclyn’s father and executive producer for Solid Singer Music Inc. “She is very enthusiastic to perform and raise much needed funds, especially at this time of year.”

Net proceeds from the concerts will be distributed to the Kelowna community food bank, Peachland food bank, Westside community food bank, Vernon food bank and Summerland food bank.

Guillou performs at the Vernon Yacht Club on Okanagan Landing Road, next to Paddlewheel Park, Dec. 2. The concert begins at 7 p.m. and tickets are $25, available at the yacht club with a non-perishable food item.
