Smalltown DJs to bring sounds of Shambhala and Bass Coast to Sapphire Nightclub

The Electronic Dance Music duo is known for their bass-heavy beats

Electronic Dance Music isn’t usually synonymous with Kelowna but when hometown favorites, SmalltownDJs, are in town you can count on the city moving and grooving.

The Kelowna staple will bring their bass-heavy house sounds to Sapphire Nightclub in Kelowna on Mar. 6. as part of their 2020 Mountain Magic Tour.

Smalltown Djs perfected their sound in Calgary, Alberta, spinning at their very own Hifi Club, which they own and operate. Since then they have been regularly appearing at B.C.’s outdoor electronic music festivals such as Shambhala and Bass Coast.

The duo has recently released music on various labels including Fool’s Gold, Sweat it Out!, Mad Decent, Main Course and many others.

Their highlights include appearances on Diplo and Claude Vonstroke’s radios hows, a one-year homestead stint in Las Vegas, the annual Mountain Magic Tour with Christian Martin (of Dirtybird) and friends and their work with Shad and Wax Romeo “Boom Ha” being featured on the HBO show “Girls”.

Tickets for their show at Sapphire Nightclub on Friday, Mar. 6 can be purchased here.
