Snowed In Comedy Tour returns to Fernie on January 28.

Four international comedians will be coming together to create one night of hilarious comedy

The Snowed In Comedy Tour is on its way back to Fernie, bringing with it lots of laughter from some of Canada’s top comedians.

Dan Quinn, Pete Zedlacher, Craig Campbell, and Paul Myrehaug are excited to be coming back to the mountain town, celebrating Snowed In’s 10th anniversary.

“It’s a bit of a pinch me thing,” said Campbell, “We didn’t really expect anything of it, and to have it go as well as it has, is just a really special thing.”

Four international comedians will come together to create one amazing show with each bringing a unique sense of humor.

Just for Laughs winner Dan Quinn is back along with the wild man MC Craig Campbell. The $25,000 Great Canadian Laugh Off winner, Paul Myrehaug, returns this year as well as five-time Canadian Comedian of the Year nominee, Pete Zedlacher. Seattle Comedy Comedy Competition winner, Damonde Tschritter will replace Craig Campbell from Feb 20 – March 10 on the Alberta and Saskatchewan leg.

Last year’s tour received numerous standing ovations from venues across Canada, and was the most successful to date. It has now grown to become one of the largest comedy tours in the country. It has become so successful in fact, the comedians are considering expanding to encompass international locations in next year’s tour.

The comedians have been coming to Fernie for nine years now, and Campbell admitted every show is special.

“The nicest thing about it is sitting down with people, some of them now we’ve seen for ten years straight and others that are new friends or acquaintances or business partners along the way, and just having a really symbiotic relationship with people who are like-minded,” said Campbell.

“Tapping into that kindred spirit is my favorite element of it,” he added.

The four comedians will take the stage at 8 p.m. on Sunday, January 28, at The Northern Bar and Stage.
