Hub City Cinema Society is celebrating Nanaimo’s short film community Saturday (April 23) with a screening.
The screening features 14 films by local filmmakers.
The event is being held at Malaspina Theatre from 6-9 p.m. Films will start rolling at 7 p.m.
Admission is $10.
There will also be a screening of 10 films from the society’s 1 Minute Mobile Movie Challenge, which asked participants to create a one-minute film on their cellphone.
