SPARC sparks artist directory

Artists are being asked to be a part of the first comprehensive artist directory in the North Okanagan.

Artists are being asked to be a part of the first comprehensive artist directory in the North Okanagan.

Spearheaded by SPARC (Armstrong Spallumcheen Arts Council Society), the purpose of the directory is for SPARC to contact artists for upcoming events and to connect the artists to relevant events and to the appropriate people.

“We invite all emerging and established artists who work in, but not limited to, the following fields: dance, design, graphic arts, literary arts, media arts, music, culinary arts, visual arts, theatre, pottery, etc.,” said Angela Passmore, with SPARC.

Those interested to be a part of the creative, community directory can e-mail SPARC at sparcartscouncil@gmail.com. They should include a short bio, their contact information and, if applicable, a website address.

“Registration is free and you will be informed of arts council projects and other interesting events,” said Passmore.
