Vittoria Doughty is showcasing her collection of stainless steel metal art of fish, birds, mountain scenes and trees, titled “Steeling Nature.” This exhibit begins today and will run until March 31. GENTLY USED BOOKS NEEDED FOR ANNUAL BOOK SALE
The Rollin Art Centre is accepting all your gently used books for their annual book sale. However, we cannot take any textbooks, magazines, National Geographic, encyclopedias or Reader’s Digest. Drop off donations (newer books only) at the Rollin Art Centre, inside the main door, under the staircase in the big wooden box. Thank you for your continued support. Gallery hours are Tuesday-Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
RENEW YOUR COMMUNITY ARTS COUNCIL MEMBERSHIPS
It’s so important to renew or take out a new membership with the Community Arts Council because when you take out a membership, you are allowing us to continue to help advocacy for the arts, for arts organizations and those working in the arts. The cost is only $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and $22 for a family.

The Rollin Art Centre is now accepting applications. All visual artists and artist groups can submit an application to exhibit their work in our Fine Arts Gallery during the 2018 calendar year.

SOLSTICE ARTS FESTIVAL
The second annual Solstice Arts Festival, Days with the Arts, takes place June 16-17.
We are looking for artists and artisans who would like to display and sell their art work on the grounds at the Rollin Art Centre. Table rentals are $60 for the two day event. Lots of activitiesare being planned, from live music to family activities. Performances at the Capitol Theatre, Art Matters and PORT Day taking place at the new Tyee Landing, with shuttles to and from the Rollin Art Centre down to Tyee Landing. Call us at 205-724-3412.
