Seniors Old Time Dances – every second Saturday, 1-4 p.m. at Aldergrove Old Age Pensioners Hall, 3015 – 273 Street. $6 admission includes snacks. Dances held every second Saturday with three different bands. Bradner Flower Show  – Friday through Sunday April 8-10, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. daily at Bradner Hall and School, 5305 Bradner Rd., Abbotsford. The 88th annual Bradner Flower Show features over 700 hundred varieties of daffodils known to Bradner. “Jazz Up Your Garden!” Fun for all ages, admission only $2. Opening ceremony, Friday at 2 p.m. with special guest Peter Fitzmaurice of GardenWorks, Global TV’s Saturday morning gardening expert. ​Decorating for this year’s show will be done by the talented and creative floral designers at Simply Perfect Flowers. On Saturday and Sunday see chefs, local wineries, special speakers and live music. Lots of interesting displays, crafts, art, food and, of course, hundreds of varieties of daffodils. All proceeds from cut flower sales donated to Abbotsford Regional Hospital.

Abbotsford Women’s Connection – New Life Breakfast, Wed., April 13, 9:30 a.m. at Azalea Room, Garden Park Tower, 2825 Clearbrook Rd. Fraser Valley Food & Gluten-Free Living Show – April 1-3, at Tradex Exhibition Centre, Abbotsford. DW Poppy Secondary School Car Show – Sunday, May 1, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at 23752 – 52 Ave., Langley. The tradition of putting on one of the first car shows of the season brings many benefits for the school. Over 700 cars on display in our school back field thousands of spectators. This is a family friendly, all ages event. We are hoping to increase our spectator traffic this year as we set out to welcome cars, vendors, concession, 50/50, car show t-shirt sales and more.
