Witness the birth of a new generation of musicians.
Four twenty-one and under powerhouse talents are taking to the Tidemark stage June 19. With them they bring a wide, diverse range of genres, performance styles, and composition. From solo country acts to rock bands, to acoustic orientated folk-pop-rock, these young musicians have it all and are ready to flaunt it.
Off To Sea are local Campbell Riverites, and are made up of brothers Jacob and John Hutchins, and Ayden Garlinksi-Gonsky. This acoustic band will deliver a mix of raspy yet melodic vocals, driving and upbeat drums, and intricate guitar pieces all combined to create a powerful yet vulnerable performance.
Keisja Cox hails from the Comox Valley where the farmland has had some influence on her. Her style is simple and wholesome, while remaining engaging and compelling. Giving country a pop flare, Cox is a 16-year-old songwriter ready to impress.
Castra Nova is a recently formed four-piece band. These Carihi Secondary students spend their lunch hours jamming in the band room. Having just debuted at Caripalooza, this band has a lot to show and the drive to do it.
Bed Rock is a young band with a love for music. Despite their young age, these rockers have created some crafty originals. Born into musical families, it was only natural they found each other.
