This is your last chance to purchase your tickets for this weekend’s largest artist tour in the Alberni Valley.

Days with the Arts is one of the largest fundraisers for the Community Arts Council and happens only every other year. Visit more than 50 local artist at either their studios or at four local community venues, between 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Tickets for the self-guided tour are only $20 for both Saturday and Sunday. Your weekend wristband (or single day ribbon) gets you admission to venues, opportunities to win major or studio prizes, and a map showing locations.

Book reading at the Rollin

The Rollin Art Centre’s Gallery hosts a special event on Tuesday, April 28 at 7 p.m. Donna Besel, a boreal writer from Manitoba will introduce her new book of short stories with a reading.

The book Lessons From a Nude Man is the seventh title in the Strike Fire New Authors Series. A Q&A will follow the reading.

Barkley Sounds  celebrates

The Barkley Sounds Community Choir presents “Jukebox Favourites”, their spring concert, April 26, 2:30 p.m. at the ADSS Theatre.
