Sun and Soil Concert Series returns to Abbotsford

Outdoor concerts held over five Fridays in July and August

Tourism Abbotsford’s Sun and Soil Concert Series returns, starting on July 23.

Presented by the Abbotsford Tech District, the series showcases a diverse mix of genres and local musicians running from 6 to 9 p.m. every Friday from July 23 to Aug. 27 (except July 30) at various locations.

The schedule is as follows:

n July 23 at Campbell’s Gold Honey Farm and Meadery with musician Nelson Padilla

n Aug. 6 at the EcoDairy with K. C. Roces

n Aug. 13 at Maan Farms with Chelsea Amber

n Aug. 20 at Mt. Lehman Winery with Ryan McAllister

n Aug. 2t at Ripples Winery and New Wave Distilling with Kyler Pierce

Attendance for each performance will be limited to under 70 people. Tickets are $65 per person – sold in packages of two to four people – and include local wine, beer, or cider, and charcuterie and picnic boxes with ingredients sourced from local farms.

Guests are invited to bring a picnic blanket but chairs will also be provided.

Tourism Abbotsford is also hosting a Taste of Abby Food Festival from Sept. 17 to 25. Plans include launching with a food and entertainment night festival and ending with a long-table dinner. Details will be announced throughout the summer.
