Fan favourite Dallas Smith is sure to be a real hit with Sunfest’s party-lovin’ crowd when he hits the new stage on Friday, July 29.
With his great big voice he’ll make the rafters ring as the festival moves to Laketown Ranch in Meade Creek just west of Lake Cowichan.
Starting with songfests like Jumped Right In, a project that netted a gold single, five CCMA Award nominations and a Juno Award nomination for Country Album of the Year, Smith didn’t rest on his laurels.
Next up was the wildly popular platinum-selling single ‘Tippin’ Point’.
Canadian country fans also loved ‘Lifted’ and ‘Wastin’ Gas.’
Born in Vancouver, Smith knows that B.C. loves country music, and he’s added his name and fame to a lot of both musical and fundraising events, showing that with him, quality runs deep.
In 2015, he picked up the Juno and the Canadian Country Music Award for the Country Music Album of the Year for Lifted. Now, he’s also building an American fan base.
