The theme is Halloween, but the John Welsh Band will bring the feel of a tropical paradise to Errington Hall Friday night for an all-ages dance party.
The music starts at 8 p.m. Oct. 30, with Creekmore Coffee and the usual delectable treats available from the kitchen. Guests are invited — no, encouraged — to dress up in costume and enjoy “one of Vancouver’s premier up-and-coming bands.” (Todd Hancock, former 99.3 CFOX indie music director).
The group blends elements of folk, surf rock, reggae, latin to produce an upbeat, danceable vibe. John Welsh Band toured heavily in the recent summer festival season and has performed as an opening act at Vancouver’s iconic Commodore Ballroom. The group has also been hard at work on the recording of a full-length album.
Tickets are $20 for adults, $5 for kids 12-under and free to children 5-under.
Advance tickets are available at Cranky Dog, Heaven on Earth, and Errington Store. For more information on this and other Errington Hall events, visit www.erringtonhall.bc.ca.
