A concert in Surrey next week will raise funds for orphaned children in Ukraine.
With recent political unrest in Ukraine, life has been made more difficult for the country’s children, which now also includes refugees from Crimea.
Presented by Humanitarian Aid Response Teams (HART), the Surrey evening will feature dessert and coffee, plus music from Class Brass and professional musician Eugene Goltsov, who plays saxophone and clarinet.
A presentation will also be made by HART representatives on the current needs in Ukraine.
The event takes place May 2, 6:30 p.m. at Oasis at Elim Village, 9067 160 Ave. Seating is limited. Reserve at 1-888-788-3880 or email bctickets@hart.ca
