Hundreds of dancers kicked off the first week of the Surrey Festival of Dance at the Surrey Arts Centre.
Photos from Saturday, March 28, are of the acrodance, a style that combines classical dance technique with precision acrobatic elements.
Now in its 49th year, the competition features 10,000 dancers performing classical ballet, modern, international, jazz, hip hop/street, tap and stage routines.
The festival continues until April 28 (but not during Easter Week) and includes the No Borders Group Dance Challenge and awards presentation on May 9.
Admission is free for visitors.
