Chemainus Classical Concerts presents a concert entitled Power and Whimsy, starring pianist Elias-Axel Pettersson, on Sunday, Jan. 15, at 2 p.m. at St. Michael’s Church.
This Swedish-American virtuoso has visited the Valley before and this time he’ll be showcasing works by European and Russian composers.
Music lovers will enjoy Mendelssohn’s ‘Rondo Capriccioso’, Ravel’s ‘Sonatine’, Blumenfeld’s ‘LH Etude’, Berg’s ‘Sonata’, and Franck’s ‘Prelude, Choral et Fugue’.
