One of the trade-offs for Cariboo living is the limited number and variety of cultural events available.
Kamloops Symphony Orchestra will be performing in Kamloops on Nov. 26 and 100 Mile Festival of the Arts is purchasing group tickets to make it a little more affordable and attractive for people to see the show.
Festival Committee member Eleanor Nicoll has arranged a group ticket purchase in the past and says the experience had lasting effects on those who went.
“Watching and listening to a full orchestra is a thrilling experience, especially for those who already play a musical instrument.”
The orchestra will perform at the Calvary Community Church at 7:30 p.m.
Discount ticket prices are $12 for students, which is a 20 per cent saving, and $27 for adults.
Folks have until Sept. 30 to place their order by calling Nicoll at 250-395-2697 or Anthony Lau at 250-791-5303.
Concertgoers are responsible for their own transportation and accommodation.
