The Golden Taps Pub will be bringing violinistextremist Kytami to play a show on May 19.
Kytami is a violinists who blurs the line between all genres of music with nothing more than a fiddle bow.
Through an alchemy of classical fiddle styles fused with the heavy bass elements of Dubstep and Hip Hop, Kytami has forged a path so bold and unique that it’s taken her alongside groups from Swollen Members to acoustic punk rockers Blackie and The Triumphs.
She was a co-founding member of the critically acclaimed band, Delhi 2 Dublin in 2006 before heading out on a solo career in 2010.
The 2012 release of her full-length solo album combined the far flung elements of all music found around the globe.
Kytami has played shows from Germany to Hong Kong to the Joshua Tree Festival and Shambhala.
