Canadian country singer Terri Clark is bringing her Back To My Roots – Solo Acoustic Tour to Mission on Nov. 8 at 7:30 p.m. in the Clarke Theatre.
An Alberta girl at the top of her game, Clark got her start playing for tips at Nashville’s legendary honky-tonk Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge. From such humble beginnings she emerged as a distinctive voice on the country music landscape. Her hits include Better Things to Do, When Boy Meets Girl, Poor Poor Pitiful Me, Emotional Girl, You’re Easy on the Eyes and Girls Lie Too, just to name a few.
Clark is an eight-time CCMA Entertainer of the Year, five-time Female Vocalist of the Year and three-time Juno Award winner for Best New Solo Artist (1997), Best Country Female Artist (2001) and Country Album of the Year (Roots and Wings 2012).
In addition, she still holds the honour of being the only Canadian female artist to be a member of the Grand Ole Opry. She has sold over four million albums with 13 Top 10 singles, including six number one hits in Canada and the U.S.
One of the rare female country artists capable of throwing down some impressive guitar work, Clark will perform her catalog of hits in a stripped-down setting along with the stories behind the songs.
The show is presented by Country 107.1, Rock.It Boy Entertainment and Gee Dan Productions. Tickets are available at all Ticketmaster locations.
