Jan. 19 — Grandmothers for Africa host the Penticton Thursday Nite Jazz Band at the Barking Parrot at 7:30 p.m. All proceeds go to Stephen Lewis Foundation. Tickets are $15 at the Lakeside Resort front desk.

Jan. 21 — Jazz in January features three big bands. The Pen High Junior Jazz Band, Senior Jazz Band and the Thursday Nite Jazz Band with all ticket sales support the Pen High music program.
Jan. 24 — Blue Rodeo with special guests Ron Hawkins and The Do Good Assassins perform at the South Okanagan Events Centre.

Jan. 21 — Local wine, spirits and craft beer collide with local restaurants for Palette of Penticton at the Penticton Seniors Centre. Silent auction and 102 bottles of Canadian wine up for grabs. Tickets $35.
