April 4 — The Dream Café presents Anna Jacyszyn and the Jazz Café Band. This multi-award winning combination of musicians inspires through original arrangements and the brilliance of their improvised solos, with a singer who injects life into the lyrics of every song.
April 6 — Monday Night Karaoke at 7 p.m. in Fibonacci Roastery and Cafe, 219 Main St.
April 9 — Open jam and live music with Boom Chicken at 8 p.m. in the Fibonacci Roastery and Cafe, 219 Main St.
April 10— Chase Padgett gets in character, becoming six different guitarists each with their own songs and stories at the Dream Café.
April 10 –— The South Okanagan Concert Society is bringing lyric soprano, Jenavieve Moore to perform at the Venables Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 on sale at Beyond Bliss in Oliver and Imperial Office Pro in Osoyoos. Some tickets may be available at the door.
April 15 — Rock music staple Def Leppard comes to the SOEC.

April 24 — Dance Highlights concert for the Kiwanis Music, Dance and Speech Arts Festival at 7 p.m. in Cleland Theatre.
April 25 — Music Highlights concert for the Kiwanis Music, Dance and Speech Arts Festival at 7 p.m. in Cleland Theatre. Tickets are available at festival venues, the Penticton Arts Council office (Leir House) and at the door, $10 per person, $25 for a family of four.
April 25, 26 — Sage Valley Voices present Favourite Songs of the Beatles at 7 p.m. on Saturday and 2:30 p.m. on Sunday at the Oliver United Church. $10 tickets are available at the door and refreshments will be offered afterwards.
May 1 — The first-ever Dream Music Festival kicks off at the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre.
May 6 — Boogie woogie piano player Ben Waters starts a four-night stint at the Dream Café.
EVENTS
April 9 — The Penticton Museum presents A Very Canadian Railroad: The Story of the Kettle Valley Railway, an original exhibit celebrating the 100th anniversary of the KVR. Opening reception is from 4 to 7 p.m. Admission by donation. Proudly part of Okanagan Steamfest.
April 10 — The Okanagan Fest-of-Ale brings live music, local food and all the beer you can drink to Penticton.
April 10, 11 —The Vagina Monologues, back by popular demand, for 7 p.m. performances at the Osoyoos Secondary School minitheatre. Tickets are available at Innervisions, Sundance Video and The Bargain Shop in Oliver and at Jojo’s Café and Art Therapy Corp. In Osoyoos. Prices are $18 in advance and $20 at the door.
April 24 — The B.C. Interior RV Show at the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre.
May 10 — Children’s Showcase presents Modus O: Circus Terrifico Slideshow Ballet. Performance starts at 2 p.m.
