Feb. 17 — The Okanagan Symphony Orchestra presents Viva L’Italia featuring the music of Jens Lindemann on trumpet as the guest artist. Lindemann is Canada’s leading trumpet soloist and the only solo brass player to be awarded the Order of Canada. Performance is at the Cleland Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available at the Shatford Centre or by phone 888-974-9170.
Feb. 18 — Live music at the Cannery Brewing Co. at 198 Ellis St. from 6 to 8 p.m. featuring Justin Koshman.
Feb. 18 — Jazz Vespers, an hour of soft jazz and meditation starting at 4:30 p.m. St. Saviour’s Anglican Church, 150 Orchard Ave. Larry Crawford and Friends features Crawford on winds; Debi Johnson, vocals: Cam Ward, bass, Rod Rose on drums and Mel Zachary, piano. Feb. 23 — From hot-rod rockabilly to foot stomping vintage country and Western swing, Cousin Harley brings it all to the Dream Café. Tickets are $43 for premium seats and $33 for wings.
Feb. 23 — Working my Way Back to You is a tribute to The Jersey Boys — Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons at the Frank Venables Theatre in Oliver. Fresh off their successful residency at the historic Memories Theatre in Tennessee, the show features a concert style experience showcasing all your favourite songs. Tickets are $35.
Feb. 24 — The Naramata Choir Cabaret perform solos, duets, trios and quartets on a variety of genres focusing on jazz, pop, Broadway and folk at the Dream Café. Premium seats are sold out, wing seats are available for $27.
Feb. 24 — The House is a-Rockin’ Blues Jam, hosted by the Yard Katz at Orchard House, 157 Orchard Ave. Doors open at 12:30 p.m. Great showcase of local artists from 1:30 to 5 p.m. Admission is $5 in support of the South Okanagan Similkameen Volunteer Centre.

March 1 — Songwriter, guitarist and vocalist Terra Lightfoot melds expert finger-picking and distorted, hook-heavy melodies. She takes the Dream Café stage with William Crighton, who is known for his powerful and mesmerizing live performances. Show is at 8 p.m. Tickets are $40 for premium seats and $30 for wings.

Until March 3 — Many Hats Theatre presents Buying the Moose. A comedy about two couples, one in crisis and the other caught up in their chaos of misunderstandings and anxieties. Shows are Thursday to Saturday at 8 p.m. (doors open at 7:30 p.m.) and Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. (doors open at 1:30 p.m.). Tickets are $25 for adults and $22 for students and seniors. Feb. 17 — Apex Mountain Resort and The Gunbarrel Saloon are hosting the fifth annual Brewski Craft Beer, Cider and Spirits Festival from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tickets include eight beer tokens, tasty appies supplied by the Gunbarrel and an after party with live music. Feb. 24 — The OneWorld Multicultural Festival takes place at the Penticton Lakeside Resort from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Art, music, food, diverse artefacts, information booths, crafts and entertainment representing 31 different countries. Admission is free.

March 1 to 3 — Southern Okanagan Secondary School presents the fun-filled musical production of Rock of Ages. Tickets are $10 for students and $15 for adults. They are available at the SOSS Library. All shows are at the Frank Venables Theatre in Oliver and are at 7 p.m. with a matinee on March 3 at 2 p.m.
