Cool Arts Society is hosting The Beat Poet Project, an evening performance to celebrate the completion of an eight-week exploration, and fusion of rhythm and poetry.
Cool Arts, a local non-profit organization that provides art opportunities for adults with diversabilities; in partnership with percussionist Trevor Salloum and spoken word poet Rawle Iam James ; will present their beats and voices.
• When: Thursday, July 3 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
• Where: Rotary Centre for the Arts South Atrium
• How much: $5 minimum donation at the door
The Beat Poet Project is generously funded by a Special Projects grant under the B.C. Arts Council.
