Cineplex Entertainment, which owns Vernon’s Galaxy Cinemas, is screening Dr. Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas as its Family Favourite film this Saturday at 11 a.m.
Admission is by donation and proceeds will go to the Salvation Army food bank.
Directed by Ron Howard, with Jim Carrey in the lead role as the famously green grouch, the film follows little Cindy Lou Who (Taylor Momsen), who takes matters into her own hands and turns both Whoville and The Grinch’s world upside down, inside out and funny side up in her search for the true meaning of Christmas.
Doors open to the theatre at 10:30 a.m.
