The Lion The Bear The Fox are back in town.
The popular three-piece roots rock group will once again play at the Quality Resort Bayside on June 13.
This is the third straight year the band has played the venue in a concert presented by Arbutus Events.
“It’s a really good show,” said Megan Olsen of Arbutus Events. “They always sell out.”
Earlier this year, The Lion The Bear The Fox also presented a full set at the Errington Hall. During that well-attended evening, the group performed songs from their 2013 EP We’d Be Good Men and from their upcoming full-length, self-titled album. A release date for this self-produced record has not yet been announced.
Last month, Christopher Arruda (aka The Lion) also made a solo appearance in Parksville to open for John Mann of Spirit of The West.
Tickets to this weekend’s show are $20 in advance and can be purchased at the Quality Resort Bayside and Soak Essentials in Parksville, ReVived Vintage in Qualicum Beach and online at arbutusevents.ca. You can also purchase tickets at the door for $25.
Doors to the concert open at 7:30 p.m. and the show starts at 8:30 p.m.
