The Old School House Arts Centre is having its Annual General Meeting on Sunday, March 22 at 1:15 p.m. All TOSH members are invited to attend the meeting, which will be hosted in the centre’s Brown Gallery.
“It’s a great time to come and support an organization you love,” said TOSH executive director Corinne James.
At the meeting, members will have the opportunity to vote on the next board of directors.
Seeking reelection is Mary Brouilette, former TOSH president and Qualicum Beach councillor.
All TOSH members are invited to run for election to the board and James said nominations will be accepted from the floor at the AGM. Interested members can also put forth their names before Sunday by calling 250-752-6133 or e-mailing qbtosh@shaw.ca
This will be the last AGM for current board president Vivien Sears, who will be retiring after the meeting. Sears has been on the board on and off since 2001, said James.
“We’re sorry to see her go,” said James. “She has been a great supporter.”
James said board member Kay Ferguson will also be stepping down from the board.
